RCSS School Nutrition Services prepares approximately 6,500 breakfast and 10,000 lunch meals for students each school day. The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback about our breakfast and lunch menus from parents, teachers, and staff. We will use this feedback to update our menus in order to enhance the school meal experience for our students. Attention Patriots - Early release bell schedule for tomorrow 12/20/2024


JAG students conducted Speed Interviews with local businesses and community members. Pictured above is chairman of the Randolph County Board of Commissioners, Mr. Frye. Students move from one interview to the next, allowing them to engage with multiple professionals. This event is an excellent opportunity to gain interview skills and real-world practice.

The early release day on Friday, December 20 will mark the beginning of our Winter break. Students will return to school on January 2.


Today we recognized our first quarter Patriot Award Recipients. Students are selected by their teachers, one student per department, to receive this award based on the PGHS Code of Character. Each student has demonstrated character traits including Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Caring, Cooperation, and Honesty.



The second round of check in data will take place - December 11th through December 19th

This week, RCSS had four secondary staff members (from SWRMS & PGHS) attend the NCCAT and NC2ML Co-creating a Vision of High Quality and Equitable Math Instruction retreat for middle school and high school district teams.
