Due to the chance of inclement weather and the time it takes to set up electronic equipment, we believe it is in the best interest of our graduating class to hold the 2025 graduation ceremony in the Providence Grove gymnasium. Graduation will begin at 8:00, doors will open for attendees at 7:00. Open to public high school seniors with a weighted GPA of 2.8 or higher who meet course requirements, students will be matched with colleges where they already qualify — no traditional application needed. The program now includes more UNC System schools, NC Independent Colleges and Universities and NC Community Colleges. Students are directly admitted and can accept offers by completing a short form on CFNC.org.

High school student-athletes from Asheboro City Schools and the Randolph County School System were recognized this evening at the Randolph Sports Council Spring Banquet, held at Black Powder Smokehouse in Asheboro. The event featured guest speaker Mrs. Kathryn Simons, a member of the UNC-Chapel Hill Rowing Team and a proud alumna of Wheatmore High School, Class of 2014. We extend our sincere thanks to the Randolph Sports Council for organizing this special event, and a heartfelt appreciation to all the Randolph Sports Council sponsors, including Black Powder Smokehouse for hosting the event.
