Providence Grove FFA proudly hosted our 2nd Annual Little Sprouts Ag Day, bringing agricultural education straight to our youngest learners!
During National FFA Week in February, we visited Grays Chapel Elementary School, and in March for National Agriculture Day, we spent time with students at Liberty Elementary School.
Our high school FFA members had the opportunity to visit 1st grade classrooms and share the importance of agriculture—teaching students where their food comes from and the role farmers play in our everyday lives.
Students enjoyed:
A read-aloud of “Thank a Farmer” by
Maria Gianferrari
A fun, interactive scavenger hunt about where food is grown
Writing heartfelt thank-you notes to our local Randolph County farmers

A special thank you to the Randolph County Farm Bureau for their generous support in providing a copy of “Thank a Farmer” for every 1st grade classroom we visited. Your investment is helping us plant the seeds of agricultural appreciation in the next generation!
