 CTE Mission:

"The mission of North Carolina secondary Career and Technical Education (CTE) is to empower all students to be successful citizens, workers and leaders in a global economy" (Department of Public Instruction).


 Career Development Center Mission

To provide students with the resources, skills, and work-based experiences to allow for exploration in preparation for a future career or educational goal.  

To provide teachers with a support system that is built upon school, community, county and state materials, guest speakers, and resources within the class and beyond.


Randolph County CTE and Randolph County Community College offers apprenticeship programs in partnership with joint apprenticeship training centers and contractors or trade associations that are registered with the Office of Apprenticeship and Training.

Earn up to 45 college credits paid for by the employer

Hands on work experience in an Industry Setting

Hourly Wage Paid for hours spent in College Class & Apprenticeship

Nationally recognized Journeyman’s Certification
